Thanks for responding. I have never thought of the body running the mind. That really feels true for me. I will think of that when I start excusing myself from exercising! Blessings!

In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose
"If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."
-General George S Patton, U.S.Army, 1912 Olympian

I am a true southern girl raised in Alabama with a love of all fried foods and good southern cooking! Over the years, I lost 120 pounds in my twenties, and over fifty numerous times since. Obviously from my title, I once again face the battle of losing over 100 pounds again. This time, it is important to me as I have developed type two diabetes and just don't have the energy to do the things I want or need to. Next summer, we are planning a trip to
Scotland and Ireland and I so want to be able to walk and enjoy the experience. So here I am again, starting the journey again.
