I meant to reply to you but I created a new topic instead. It is called You are not alone. I find that visiting this site regularly keeps me on track. It is fun because you never go where it will take you. We are all allowed to start over and over no matter how many times we do. I enjoy reading others blog, a good source of knowledge. We are always learning no matter what age we are, even about ourself. Welcome Mary!!

That is awesome. I just need to stick with it. Once I get started I am good then a month or so down the road I struggle and fall off track. I am hoping with this support system that I can stay on track and make positive lifestyle changes.

Thank you for that. I think we all forget the power our minds.

"If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Mary, you can do it. YOU are worth it and your family needs you. If you do not take care of yourself, how can you take care of them? The Spark team will be here to support you. It is a great site with many tools to educate and motivate you. Good luck.

My name is Mary Wilson and having lots of mixed feelings about starting this weight loss program. I have struggled with weight all my life and have never known what it feels like to put on a swim suit in the summer and not feel ashamed. I need to do this and stick with it. I am falling deeper into an unhealthy lifestyle and a depression. I have four wonderful kids and a loving husband. I just want to feel good and not so insecure because I know it wheres off on them. I also see my 10 year old following in my same foot steps. I do not want this for her. I need to change!
