Hi, I am Diane and joined because I have just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I am apprehensive and concern for what I can and can't eat at this point. I have never had concerns in what I have been able to eat. I am a southern cook and with that comes the sugar and butter. I know I need to change my eating habits but don't know where to start, except to alleviate white bread and white pasta which I have already done and have switched to whole grain breads and pasta.
