Okay - I was invited to this team after a leader saw a post on another team in which I was dismayed by the lack of conversation within the team. When I looked at the success boards, they were filled with "the support from my team got me through." I want to feel that!
I am going to be 41 in a couple of weeks and have about 60 pounds to lose. I was told that it was okay to still be on the team! I am a high school English teacher. I have a wonderful hubby, three children, and three stepsons. We have four children with us all the time - makes for a nice, busy household.
I have been overweight my entire adult life. I have arthritis from a bone disease I had as a child; I never learned to exercise or enjoy the outdoors as a child as crutches tend to slow one down. One month ago I discovered recumbent bikes and purchased one. Now the only exercise I love to do is to ride and we take family rides daily.
I hope I gain some wisdom, camaraderie, and friends from this team to help me accomplish my goals!
