Hello, Jo, and welcome to W2L100+AA50eiya50y - that last bit is '...even if you aren't 50 yet,' lol... I am usually pretty good about posting in the 'Small, slow and steady' thread' but I haven't even looked at the 'Chat' thread yet. I will tho! Meanwhile, I'm glad you've joined us, and I look forward to getting to know you! :-D

Hi, and welcome aboard.
Do join us in the chat room and on the slow and steady room. This is a great group of ladies.
Hope to see you there so that we can get to know you.
Believe you can and your halfway there.
The talent of success is nothing more than doing what you can do well and doing well whatever you do.
Great to see you made it here
I will put a couple of links for you one to the Chat room
and one to the Small, slow and steady thread, where we chat as much but have a little more in the way of challenges
look forward to seeing you there

Okay - I was invited to this team after a leader saw a post on another team in which I was dismayed by the lack of conversation within the team. When I looked at the success boards, they were filled with "the support from my team got me through." I want to feel that!
I am going to be 41 in a couple of weeks and have about 60 pounds to lose. I was told that it was okay to still be on the team! I am a high school English teacher. I have a wonderful hubby, three children, and three stepsons. We have four children with us all the time - makes for a nice, busy household.
I have been overweight my entire adult life. I have arthritis from a bone disease I had as a child; I never learned to exercise or enjoy the outdoors as a child as crutches tend to slow one down. One month ago I discovered recumbent bikes and purchased one. Now the only exercise I love to do is to ride and we take family rides daily.
I hope I gain some wisdom, camaraderie, and friends from this team to help me accomplish my goals!
