Good morning everyone. I had a lovely weekend but terrible eating! Today is a new day and I'm going to use the Atkins diet for a few days. Hopefully it'll shake up my metabolism and shed any weight I may have gained over the weekend. On my last weigh in day I had maintained. I dont get on the scale between weigh ins so don't know how bad it is but hopefully by Friday I'll be okay or at least the gain will be small. I wish I could get a handle on the attitude I have for holidays and other "special occasions". I blow it sky high then have to work like crazy just to get back where I was. I haven't made any real progress in 6 months! What's it going to take to get me moving steadily forward again?? I'm frustrated and have no one to blame but myself!!

Hello everyone,

I am a 60 yr. old widow who has over 100 lbs. that I need to loose. I saw myself clearly yesterday for the first time in a long time.

My granddaughter graduated form high school and those cameras were flashing in every direction--if you know what I mean!!! I need all the help, encouragement & accountability I can get.

It is very hard to have the heart to lose the weight when my very best friend is no longer here to encourage me and just love me anyway!!!!
