Hi! I saw you needed support today so I went onto your Spark Page but wanted to catch you here too.... just remember a couple things....this a journey that will last a lifetime and by taking small steps you will get there I promise! I rededicated myself to my healthy Living Journey in January and have been doing it by small 21 day goals. This is how I have been doing it. I started with 1 goal that I committed to doing consecutively for 21 days. (The length of time it takes to form a habit). I picked logging onto SP daily a minimum of 15 mins. a day and I have been doing it ever since! When I felt that was a habit I added a 2nd one. Getting a min. of 7 hours of sleep a night (a very hard one for me)! It took way longer than 21 days but I'm doing it! Then I added my 8 glasses of water/day. And now i have just added exercising a min. of 10 mins/day and tracking 1 meal per day. These are such small goals that I am successful!! I can do this! And YOU can do this too! Don't try to do too much at once! And if you take a step backwards or sideways then just pick yourself and travel in the forward direction again. No biggie! recognize that it will happen and forgive yourself and go on.

You CAN do this and I will help if you want me too! Don't forget to come over to the Daily Post thread and meet the other gals who give me all the support I need and they will do the same for you!

Welcome to the team Kitccat!
I have a couple suggestions...put up post it notes around the house of your childrens names, your husbands name...those should be your reason to stay on track...then once you get focused you can start doing it for yourself! Which should be #1...there is nothing wrong w/you-we all fall off the wagon-just need to stop beating yourself up and get back on...

If the mind can perceive it, and the heart can believe it then you CAN achieve it.

Hi there everyone! I am a stay at home mom of 2 little ones, looking to return to the workforce very soon. I have gotten very lazy and large over the last few years and I am miserable! I need help with motivation! I keep falling off! I was good for two full weeks and went off and now I am having trouble day to day! I dont understand, I know I need to lose weight, I am also newly diagnosed Diabetic. I dont understand myself, what is wrong with me?? Why cant I stay on track?? Help!!
