to the Yoga team. Glad to hear you fell in love with Yoga, to make sure you get the poses right is always recommended to attend some classes with a certified instructor before developing your home Yoga practice. I hope you have this opportunity.
When I started my yoga practice I was like you, practicing on my own, because in my little town we didn't have a Yoga studio. When finally, one was open in a town half an hour away, I signed up for a session with 5 classes, what a difference! the instructor taught breathing technique, I improve my poses, in brief, my practice grew. A couple of years later a Yoga studio was open in my town, I took another 5 classes to boost my practice. I learned the used of props and it was my first contact with meditation practice. Both enriched my Yoga practice definitely. Now-a-days, I practice at home, I follow the Yoga Journal Challenges(one is on right now, see thread for Fitness Yoga), dvds (Rodney Yee, Barbara Benagh,Cyndi Lee)
and check the suggestions other members advice. It has been a very interesting journey for me. Hope it will also be for you.
Join us in the monthly challenge and share your experience, inspire and be inspired by what other members do.
Just on Monday and Tuesday, Fitness Yoga and Mantra Meditation started(see threads) both are free and you can sign-up to check them out
