We had a yoga class at my local gym that did not last long because of not many people participated. I am still a beginner but have read several books and magazines about yoga, mostly the breathing and meditation. It helps calm my son down who is ADHD and has Asperbergers. We do this each morning before school. I have signed up for the 21 day Chopra and looking forward to it.

I agree that finding the right teacher can make a huge difference. I believe that when you are ready the right teacher appeared. I found my teacher almost 3 years ago in a city almost 2 hours a way.... then about 6 month ago, he moved here.

Welcome, this is indeed an active team of true yoga lovers. I have been practicing yoga for about 7 years, however, this past month, I have begun a 6:30 am daily practice (weekdays) and I am loving it.
I just wanted to stop by, say hello, and see if this group is/was an active group. I am relatively new to yoga but have fallen in love with it. I will enjoy learning more and becoming more and more involved as a new yoga practitioner.
