I've just joined Spark People today having migrated from Weight Watchers. I've lost 2 1/2 stone so far, but still lots to go. One of the reasons I've joined Spark people is that I want to be able to track more nutritional information to make sure I'm getting all my minerals, especially calcium. Women have to be careful about bone density & I want to keep my nice and strong. Also, I've just switched to being a vegetarian so I want to keep a closer eye on things & make sure I'm balancing my proteins properly.
Generally, my emphasis is changing from just losing weight to gaining health - and Spark People seems a wonderful tool to support that.
I'm really looking forward to finding out more about what Spark People offers and hooking up with fellow Sparkies in the UK.
Whenever I practice yoga it always rewards me but I've never sustained a regular practice - I'm hoping that joining this group may lift my yoga vibe. I also practice Reiki and meditation.
