Sounds like a plan!! I've been very diligent and practising at least 5 times per week... started with hot yoga a couple of years ago but found Bikram to be a bit of a deviation from the purpose i was looking for... very commercial and superficial ( in my humble opinion ).. have done a variety of other styles, settled on a hot yoga studio that used infra red and kept the room at about 38C so it was quite perfect. Of late I'm getting a huge benefit from the very basic hath a which gives me so much peace and centres me. Mostly practice at home now. enough about that tho!! so does everyone see this now that I have replied to you, or are we on our own thread? Guess if we get a third in on this, I will have my answer!! thanks for sharing!!

Hi, I'm also new to Sparkpeople and the boards, so we can be newbie's together. I have been doing yoga for about 10 years now, sometimes more and sometimes less seriously. But last fall, when I committed to getting healthy physically and emotionally, I have been practicing three times a week - vinyasa or ashtanga primarily. I do a mixture of home and in-class practice.
Let's figure this Spark thing out together!

Greetings all.. I am new to Spark and new to message boards so until I figure this out I will hope for the best! I did yoga many years ago and have been away from it for a long time. I started up again during the 2010 Olympics and have stayed with it since. I can see an authentic growth both within and without my body... so grateful that it is staying with me now. Hope to find motivation and friendship on these pages.
