It is easy to think that SP takes up a lot of time, and if we get busy, we spend less time here. We forget that SUPPORT is the biggest part of our SUCCESS. We leave, we watch what we eat less, we have little or no accountability, our exercise decreases, and the weight creeps on... it happens! We need to forgive ourselves and start fresh: daily if neccessary!
I think SP can be overwhelming if you try to do everything (I have been known to get obsessed with trying to get as many points as possible). We have to use SP the way that works best for us. I consider SP to be time FOR ME, so I have a goal to spend 15 minutes here daily. At least I enter food and fitness. If I earn the bonus spin, I let my son spin the bonus wheel, he loves that.

Mostly I love reading my friends comments and blogs, I love helping support someone else because it keeps me motivated to stay healthy.

Go Spark People!!!

Thanks so much! It's amazing how much support this place has always been. However, I can't understand why we fall into the old habits so easily when we've learned so much from Sparks. It makes my head boggle.

Welcome Back!

Yep, many of us have probably discovered the hard way that we need spark to keep that hard earned weight loss OFF our bodies. Did it myself, and I am happy to be back. It was easy for me to get right back on track with SP.

Welcome back! I did the same thing- left SparkPeople, stopped tracking my food, and added a few pounds here and there.
I find that the older I get the harder it is to lose the extra pounds, but with all the motivation here your "extras" will melt away in no time at all!
Good luck on your journey-
Amanda

Hey everyone! I'm so excira (excited) to be back but not so excited about the weight that I've slowly been gaining.

I did so well last time and then left Sparks... thinking everything would be good. I learned and was living right.

Then I'm not sure what happened. Slowly the weight has been coming back on. My pants started to get tighter and I was getting more winded. But, I was eating healthy, right? Well, I guess not as much as I thought.

So, here I am with 15 - 20 lbs to lose.

It's time for me! Enough of this roller coaster ride!

Irish smiles!
