I dont have an actual diet plan as of yet. I cut out all the junk food and soda. no longer eat white breads. This is hard! I ws basically told I couldnt eat anything that I regulary eat but am slowly finding new foods to that are working. I am loving the veggies though. It seems like its all i can eat without gaining any more!

Ven, how long have you been juicing? I've been juicing for about a month and feel the difference, but haven't done a detox. I do it because I am horrible at eating veggies. I like the juice which is mainly spinach, kale, and cucumber. In fact, I am sipping at one right now that has also parsley. Cyn

I have been dealing with PCOS all my life and for me a Paleo eating plan was what helped me.Except for the weight loss, it balanced my insulin resistance and regulated my periods! Less painful and shorter with almost normal flow. Right now I am juicing to detox, and going straight back to Paleo. If Paleo is too strict, look at primal. I thought that not eating carbs would suck, but once your body feels better, you won't crave them.
I am doing it!

I too am in the health field and knowing what is happening and working it isn't always easy. What sort of recipes are you leaning toward? If you are like me, I needed veggies. Perhaps you may want to first try to add those while cutting back on the heavy carb stuff.

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistence. All I can say is HELP! I know what I need to do however I am a very picky eater and was just told that virtually all the foods that I enjoy I can no longer eat. I work in the health care field so I understand all the logistics of whats going on with my body. I just need a lot of help finding recipes and support to reach my goals.
