Hi all, I was diagnosed over a year ago. I knew what it meant because I watched my older sister suffer with so many problems. I know most likely I would be diagnosed but didn't start showing a lot of symptoms till I hit 30 (as if that wasn't hard enough lol ) I joined spark about a year ago and kind of fizzled out. After a back injury and some health problems I decided that I have to do this for me. I would love to make some friends here that understand how hard it is to lose weight with PCOS. My Dr told me when he made the initial diagnosis "you can eat like a rabbit and exercise 5 hours a day and you will never have the body of a super model." I cried for 3 hours after leaving that appointment. Now when i pluck my chin hairs in front of the mirror I hear that over and over and I may not ever look like I belong on a runway but I can do better than where I am at right now! I am taking matters into my own hands :)
