Thanks do much for the warm welcome ladies!!

I just wanted to let you know that I am doing better. It is confirmed I have pcos. Prescribed metmorfin. Spelling ?!

I have been doing immensely better since I've been eating differently. This lifestyle has apparently reversed significant amount of diseases incl diabetes, which seems all too common or inevitable for us who have pcos.

The only issue I have is the endom. Meaning endometriosis.

I'd definitely get yourself an endocrinologist to verify that you have PCOS.
They specialize in hormones and are you best bet at getting better.

Welcome to the team though, we are happy to have you!

Hello!!!! emoticon

The docs were having a hard time figuring out which hormone was messed up... So, I was told that based on all of the blood work, symptoms, and other tests, that I have PCOS! I've had it for years. So similar it seems to be with hypothyroidism!
I'm also getting treated for endom. right now. No fun!

Anyhow.

I just wanted to tell you all about the program I'm doing, and I'm soooo excited to tell you that I've lost 12.2 lbs in just a little over 4 weeks!!! This has NEVER EVER happened in my life when I'm actually eating more than ever too. In the past it would take about 3 months to lose that amount exercising like a maniac too!

Have you heard of Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live? I don't want to quote this, but I thought I read somewhere that his wife was diagnosed with PCOS too. She's now a mother of several kids!

I can't tell you how happy I'm feeling right now about the changes in my body and life in general after reading his book & following his program. This is a lifestyle change. No fad dieting. It's helping with all things - cravings, moods, etc.

Anyhow, I don't work for Dr. Fuhrman. I'm just stoked about my findings and wanted to share them with you.

Happy to part of this team!

Best wishes....
