Hi, my name is April and I was officially diagnosed with PCOS this Monday. I miscarried my first pregnancy last October and I have been bleeding almost non-stop since. I have been started on Metmorfin and a few other things for other issues. Last year I ran four 5Ks, a 10 mile race, and a mini marathon. I trained for a total of 6 months running 4-5 days a week. During this process, I barely lost any weight. That should have been my first warning sign something was wrong. My final race of the year was the half marathon, which is when I was pregnant. A month and half later, I miscarried. Now, seven months later, I'm running again and hopefully, with the PCOS be treated, I'll actually lose weight. And God willing, we can have a child.
