I do know the pain of a cyst rupture and I hope I never have to feel that again.
I currently am not on bc, but just the metformin. My soon to be husband and I want to try and start for a child so I've gone off the bc to try and get it out of my system soon. In the mean time we are using other forms of protection until the wedding.

Hi my name is Jessica and I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 19 and endometriosis when I was 26. It has been a never ending battle with my weight my whole life. Being over weight as a child I do not think I ever knew what a healthy weight was for me. My PCOS is getting worst with age and recently I stop using birth control pills and got an IUD put in place. So far my symptoms have been greatly reduced. However it was the most painful experience I have had. It was even worst then having a cyst rupture. Thank God thought it only last in the time of the insertion. I am curious if any one else has experienced something like this. On a happier note I am really great-full that there is groups for women about this topic and I look forward to making a new healthier life for myself. Best wishes to you all we can move past PCOS and take more control over our lives.
