I've just basically self diagnosed myself with pcos. I'v suspected for years but was too scared to really dive in and find out for sure. Well after another year of weight gain i'v finally looked into it further. I have most of the symptoms. We will begetting health insurance in a few months and Ihope to confirm with a doctor then. Until then i am trying to follow a pcos diet and excersis program.
I'm looking for friendship and support. I know i need to see a doctor, and i will. It will just take another month or two. I'd also love to hear success stories! Has anyone here been able to shorten thier cycles and start ovulating on thier own or controled other symptoms with out medicating? How about success stories through medical intervention? I'd love to hear those as well! I'm just really looking for hope at the end of the tunnel.
My name is Stacy. I am 25. Married 8 years, have one child, a five year old girl. And would love to give her a sibling and get healthy again. Thanks everyone!
