I think if you took a poll most of us are repeat offenders as well. I know this is not the first time I have tried to lose weight. I do know that this time it was for different reasons and what I consider the "right" reasons. Good luck on your journey!

Hi everybody. My name is Chrissy and I have PCOS (PCOD). Iam due to turn 40 in a few months. I guess I am a repeat offender, I have started with sparkpeople a few times over the last year or two. And although I love the site I have let myself get sidetracked each time. It seems the older I get the more trouble I have with my weight and many other health issues related to the PCOS.Especially when it comes to chronic pain. Been diagnosed with OA,RA and fibromyalgia. All by different docs and each one says the previous diagnosis is wrong , so who knows what the truth really is. Two years ago I reached my alltime high of 367. One years ago I was exstatic to have reached 300. I just couldnt believe that I was almost under 300 for the first time in I dont even know how long. Then in the past year I have gone back to 350!!!! So here I am again. lol I feel like i should just write deja vu next to my post. Oh well. i have started back to seriously watching myself this week and have done well. Havent stepped on the scale again yet but I feel good. Back on my meds for the PCOS and hoping to start exercising this weekend, just set up a new treadmill and eliptical in the garage. Glad to be back and wishh everyone continued success for the new year.
