Welcome to the team.
Although i havnt been diagnosed for all that long i can see where your coming from with the frustrations. Im 23 and was only diagnosed at the start of last month. But have had some of the symptoms(hirsutism, weight gain and not being able to keep it off etc) for a few years. It took coming off BCP last year and not getting my periods back to go to a doctor and find out what was going on as my husband and i are TTC.
www.pcoscommunity.com is a great forum also with lots of friendly ladies on there who are going through the same thing as us. My name is MegzyAngel on there.
I'm 30 years old and my husband and I have been trying to have kids for 2 years. We are both a bit overweight so we have been slowly losing weight to see if that improves our chances.
I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 19 and have had to deal with all the usual frustrations ever since (weight gain, acne, bad pms!!)
I'm glad there is a place for me to talk to others who understand it is not as easy for PCOS women to lose weight. We have to work harder at it! :)
