I've not followed what SP has 100%, but I do follow a 60% carbs, 15% fat and 25% protein deal for what I eat, and in 5 years lost 130 pounds and for the past year have kept every single one of those pounds lost off, despite not being able to get more off at the moment.
I have the PCOS diet book and think its not worth the paper its printed on, but like all things with PCOS your milage will vary with what works for you vs what works for another.

Welcome back. I have never tried the Spark diet. There is a book called the PCOS Diet that I read about five years ago. Basically calls for balancing a carb with a protein, which is taught in a lot of books, like Master Your Metabolism by Jillian Michaels. Did you go back on the Metformin?
I was diagnosed with PCOS probably 3 or 4 years ago. I thought that I was nipping it in the bud. I had got on the metformin kick, flat belly diet, and lots of exercise. I was losing weight people... 17 lbs to be exact.
Unfortunately, I lost my job which kicked my dedication in the rear and took away my healthcare. That was February 2009. Since then, I have gotten a new job :-) AND I have regained every pound. :-( I recently went to the Doctors and all my levels were back to extremely poor. My problem... I don't have the umph to do a thing anymore.
I am old in Spark but starting this thing ALLLL new. It is frustrating but I know at some point I will get back into the game. Does anyone know if this Spark diet works for PCOS folks?
