Hi, my name is Katie - I'm 30 and I have a 8 month old baby who was conceived with Met/injectables/IUI. She is an amazing baby and I feel so blessed to have her. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2003... my husband and I took a long time to accept that we weren't going to get pregnant the natural way....
I've always been fairly active and managed to keep my weight in my "healthy range" - I tend to be at the top of that range but still considered healthy..... well until I got pregnant.... now after being pregnant and breastfeeding .... being off my Met for almost 2 years, I'm now 30 lbs overweight and would ultimately like to lose 50 lbs. I'd prefer to be in the middle range of my healthy weight rather than on the high end.
I'm excited to start my weight loss journey again... I know I can do it. :)
I'm glad to join a group of women who understand :)
