I am with you as I cook almost everything from scratch. Even though there are only two of us in the house I cook for 7 or 8 all summer when we are in NC and live on our son's property. Three kids are gluten free, son is very lactose intolerant, DIL is learning to eat more veggies, and the list goes on.
I am proud that we have been instrumental in teaching our grandkids to eat a lot of fruits and veggies.
Our whole family spent 10 days together at lake and every morning I made huge bowl of fresh fruit salad to go along with cooked breakfast.
Only downside is the amount of time I spend in the kitchen, but I am glad I am able to do it.
