Welcome Candi58! Glad to have you here - cooking from scratch is definitely way healthier. And definitely enjoyable. I can sympathize with the time issue though - I've got that problem too. But on my days out - look out! My kitchen is humming lol! Lorraine
They say it is better to be poor and happy than rich and miserable, but how about a compromise like moderately rich and just moody?

washington, hello from germany. it is nice to have you aboard.it is a great place to get and give tips, reciepies etc.even for quick meals because time is limited.i.e.making a basic tomatoe sauce than can be added to for differant meals that can be portioned wise frozen and taken when needed, for a wholesome and healthy meal in half the time.once again

Hi, I am new to the group but I was quite glad to find a group and others who cook from scratch.. Most of my friends are in a can, pre-packaged or hamburger helper--ugh! I love to cook, and i even used to home can (make pickles, jellies, veggies, etc etc). I wish i had time for more than the quick meals during the week but my commute eats up that time. But it is nice to meet you and I think this will be a great place to be.
This is a link where the only thing it costs you is the time it takes to click to provide free mammograms, there are other links also, i do them all.
