washington,hello from germany. it is nice to have you aboard.it is a great place to get and give tips,reciepies etc.even for quick meals because time is limited.i.e.making a basic tomatoe sauce than can be added to for differant meals that can be portioned wise frozen and taken when needed, for a wholesome and healthy meal in half the time.once again

Hi, I am new to the group but I was quite glad to find a group and others who cook from scratch.. Most of my friends are in a can, pre-packaged or hamburger helper--ugh! I love to cook, and i even used to home can (make pickles, jellies, veggies, etc etc). I wish i had time for more than the quick meals during the week but my commute eats up that time. But it is nice to meet you and I think this will be a great place to be.
