A belated but sincere Welcome to the team! We don't always talk much but I'm on dial-up and some days it's hard to do much online.

Hello! I happened upon this forum in browsing my mum's sparkpage. I am a new mom to an adorable 7 month old daughter and a loving wife to a man about to enlist in the U.S. Navy.
I have been cooking since I was 8, and I worked in a gourmet British style tearoom and bakery for 3 years while in college. I have spent several years doing missions work in different countries (and also feeding/planning meals for the other missionaries) and learning to love other cultures and cuisines.
I LOVE to cook, and I love to spoil my husband with tasty and healthy food made from scratch. I even make my own baby food (much easier than people seem to think).
I'm currently finishing an art degree, and I've even been known to teach some of my fellow college students cooking basics (It's surprising how many people my age don't know how to cook very simple dishes). Needless to say, I'm glad to find others who like to take the time to cook from scratch, it's so much better for you!
