Welcome YGG.

I found that regular posting helped to keep me accountable and aided in my weight loss success. Consider posting regular on the threads about daily calories, daily weight, and daily exercise.

Come back often!

Welcome to our team. Lots of motivation and accountiblity here. Your post cannot be seen because there are 3 stickys in that section. The best place to put it to be seen is New people check in here. Post in New people check in here, then all other conversation goes in Sept conversations. Thanks for joining us, I am 72 with thyroid issues also. I lost 60 lbs but got distracted by legal issues and gained most of it back. Again, welcome

I am trying this out, but want to use real food. I am on my second down day. I am doing just three down days a week as if I told my husband what I was doing he would think I am crazy....I will let him and me see if it works!

I ate a thin, almost see through, piece of whole wheat breat with 1tsp of peanut butter for breakfast, applesauce, half a cup and 7 walnuts for lunch. dinner was one cup of homade chicken soup with a small whole wheat biscuit. The next day regular but not excessive and this am I am down 1.5 pounds....I am not a believer till I see long term success. I have thyroid issues so "regular" 1200-1300 a day does not work...I am 68
