Mrs KMS --
Although our members seem to be using the daily posting of their weight less than we used to, I found that to be a big part in my success. It kept me feeling accountable, both to myself, and to other members. We also watched each others' progress and gave each other a pat on the back when others did well, and encouraged each other when we weren't meeting our goals, which helped us to stay on track. It also helped me to keep my expectations reasonable. Some weeks I lost weight, some weeks I didn't. But, over a month's time, I'd always lose some. And, that consistent success was enough to motivate me to keep going.
I'd encourage you, Mrs KMS, to make use of that thread; we can encourage you on your journey. Although my mother-of-the-bride photos look "fat" to me now (especially the ones that I DON'T have posted), I still feel good about how far I'd come by then in comparison to where I started. I was so glad that I didn't have to wear a "tent dress" to the wedding. :-)
