I did Atkins years ago, but got caught up in the "eat lots of cheeseburgers without the bun" mentality and missed out on the healthy carbs my body needed! I lost weight. But, my hair was dull, my skin was dry... just didn't look healthy! And once I slipped up, I fell hard! I couldn't get enough junk carbs!! The weight came back just as quickly as it had gone, if not quicker. Now I'm back with a different focus... to cut the "white stuff" that has invaded my daily diet, and focus on eating proteins with heatlhy carbs from veggies and fruit. My goal is to lose 40 lbs by 4th of July weekend. SP says that is realistic, so here I go!!
