to the team! You need to figure out what will work for you. You may find you want to ease into low(er) carb by moving toward cleaner eating (less processed) and lowering your carb numbers gradually. Or you may find what works for awhile may not work a couple months from now. It is a process of listening to your body and seeing how it reacts to what you are taking in. Initially it may be easier to pick a plan and then tweaking it if need be.

There are several really good blogs out there regarding low-carb eating. Of course, what you eat will depend on what specific diet plan, if any, you are doing. This is my favorite new blog because it's both very informative and funny:
What carbs you can eat depends on your plan. The best carbs are low glycemic veggies and if you plan allows it low glycemic fruits as well. Some plans, like mine, allow almost all veggies and fruits as long as they don't trigger you. Seeds and nuts are healthy and a source of carbs. Some plans allow dairy. Real cheese has carbs and is okay though it is not usually considered dairy but protein. Some plans allow legumes. Others plans allow whole grains like quinoa. The less processed the better in my opinion.

Just starting to eat low carbs and need some ideas. Will keep checking to see what treasures I can glean from the team. I am pretty clear on what I CAN'T have. But want more choices for the good carbs. Cheers!!
