I'm 55, soon to be 56. I'm married to my wonderful hubby Bob, and I have a grown son named Chris, that's my pride and joy. I talk about both a lot in blogs at times.
I'm working to lose some weight thru healthier eating and more exercise. I'm not using a scale to determine my progress. I'll be using a tape measurer once a week to see my progress and how my clothes are fitting. The main goal is to feel better about myself and to have more energy, regardless of my size.
I'm trying to be a lot more active than I had been. I'm getting out and working in the yard, doing personal projects like sewing, and hubby and I have started back going fishing. Anything to be more active.
I don't expect to lose the weight overnight ( wouldn't it be great if we could ?), but I know if I continue to go as I am now, I will get there over time.
