Hello Smart Carbers: I have been eating low carb for a year and a half. I have lost 114 pounds and have been maintaining for 6 months. I began my weight loss with using South Beach Diet principles. About half way there I stalled and then joined Ideal Protein which is very low carb and uses packets. Now I am back to eating low carb..somewhat South Beach principles.
I am totally convinced that staying away from sugar and refined carbs is the way for me. Eating low carb has made me the stablest I have been in many years. I have not binged in a year and a half.
I look forward to meeting everyone and learning more about smart carbing.
I already am going to investigate the effect of thryoid and soy from reading posts here.
