You'll be fine! It's a great lifestyle. It can be a bit scary at first to step away from our "conventional wisdom" in nutrition that's been promoted to us for so long. But this is a healthy lifestyle, and you'll see its benefits once you make it through the transition.
We're all here to help and support you through that change. We've been there! Lean on us and just jump in!

I'm new to Smart Carbing. I joined SparkPeople in May 2011 but really just looking around and reading articles etc. I think I am finally ready to commit to a new lifestyle. But I have to say, I am afraid. I don't know if I'm more afraid of failing or of succeeding. I am going to put all that aside and jump in.
