emoticon I have been tracking my food since January. I really is an eye opener. Two mistakes I have made that maybe you can learn from is calculate the carbs for the recipe you fix BEFORE you eat it! Sometimes the ingredients add up to a lot of carbs and/or calories before you know it. Also, read labels of things you buy at the grocery store while you are there. I have gotten things home and realized it just wouldn't work.

Welcome to the team! I have been tracking and eating very low carb,just low glycemic fruit,lean meat,lot's of veggies and a few nuts and I have lost 5lbs. this week.So living low carb definitely pays off! Diane

I am 6 wks post op gastric sleeve and trying to keep my carbs in check. It is recommended for me to have no more than 40 gms of carbs per day. I had a stall and even gained a few pounds.

When I started tracking my food daily, my carbs were way too much. So tracking and meal planning is part of my daily forte now.

Hope to be able to help one another on our journeys to weight loss!
