Morning -- I've been on SP since February 2011 and have lost ~36 lbs - but have been in a stall for months. Exercising, eating right, but nothing.
I lost on Atkins about 8 years ago for my dd's wedding, then gained it all back -plus. But Atkins is a bit too much for me at this point in my life. I am considered pre-diabetic but the weight loss has helped with that. In normal range most mornings, even tho I would like it to be lower! I'm due in January to get new blood work done so hopefully, A1C and fasting will be much better. Also have some heart issues (LV hypertrophy and a small aortic aneurysm which will be checked in March. On a beta blocker for the hypertrophy issue and drugs for cholesterol which I would like to get off of.
Since Monday 11/14 have been doing SB and so far down about a lb. Yea!!!!
I'm a bit confused on the food tracker now. Do I maintain my calorie level (mine is currently 1200-1550) and just reduce the carb allotment to ______????? (how much?)
I welcome all advice and all friend adds. Obviously, I need support. I'm going to join South Beach Diet team also for specific help.
