It kind of depends on what diet you are put on. I like South Beach Diet Supercharged and The 30-Day Low-Carb Diet Solution. For cookbooks I like all the South Beach cookbooks and anything by George Stella and and Dana Carpender.

I'd start and the bloodsugar 101 website (find it with google) and get an idea of what good blood sugar control looks like. You will find out how to test to see what foods work for you and what don't. From there, you can know what kind of recipes you will be looking for.
I had a blood test last Friday and failed my fasting glucose test before I even took it. I see my dr tomorrow for something else but will be officially diagnosed diabetic at that appointment as well. Since my blood work app. I've drastically cut back on carbs, no white pasta or rice for me this week. I'm not sure what dietary restrictions i'll be given. What books would you all recommend for me? What are some of your favorite recipes?
