Welcome! I think that there may be a resurgence in low carb again. It seems to come in stages and we are overdue. LOL.

Making good healthy carb choices while eating out can be quite the challenge. What I have found is that most restaurants have a workable salad menu and some have a few very good choices. One good thing to keep in mind is just don't eat ANY of the bread choices they provide. I have not seen one (whole wheat included) that I would categorize as a healthy carb. Seems like they all use very processed flour and who knows what else.

Hi, I am a former WLS patient who has a low-carb lifestyle. It is really nice to see that there are a lot of others out there! After the LC craze of the nineties, it seems that no one talks about or offers restaurant meals in this way of eating. Thanks for being here!
