Some people love these things and some do not. For me, it has provided the insight into what my body is doing and given me the kick I needed to get moving. I have had my bodybugg for two years now and have lost just ounces short of 100 lbs. I don't think I would have been as successful or stuck with it this long without it and SparkPeople together.
You can link it to your computer as often as you like, that's not a problem. I don't have an iPhone so can't help there, but hopefully someone else can help with that part. I actually wear mine almost constantly except when showering or charging, but some people find it irritates their skin if they do that, so you will have to experiment to see how you respond to it. I decided to buy this finally because I've basically hit a point of desperation with trying to lose weight lol. It seems no matter what I do I just can't seem to lose weight. I cut calories and exercised, and I gained a couple pounds...yikes. I tried just cutting calories, or just exercising and maintaining the calories I'm used to consuming and it has all been to no avail. The only good thing I can say is that conversely if I do nothing and eat crap I don't gain any weight either. My body is frustrating me!!! I'm hoping that this product will give me a better picture as to what the HECK is going on.
I was a little worried doing my research on this product since I have seen some very mixed reviews about it on the web, and it was mainly reading posts on this sparkteam that gave me enough confidence to finally splurge and try it out. I just read this morning that it doesn't work properly with the iphone 4s and that makes me sad :( But irregardless I am going to make the most of it that I can. Anyone out there have any tips for someone just starting out on this thing? As long as it doesn't stop working I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it, I am totally a gadget/graph junkie and this will be fun to check on. Can you link it to your computer more than once a day without problems? Anyone else here have an iphone 4s and having problems with it linking if you own the link version? What are all your thoughts on its accuracy in regards to calorie burn? It says to keep it off one hour out of the day, is that adequate or should I adjust that time? Does the sleep monitor work well? I want to hear from everyone both satisfied or dissatisfied with it! Can't wait to see how this goes!
