Hey Jenny, it is good to hear from you!

I was also very meticulous with it when I first got it. Like you said, I knew I was doing the work, eating right, and had the numbers to lose 2 pounds per week. But nooooo, the scale wasn't budging. This time I am not being as meticulous and I am already starting to lose weight. Go figure! I will be more patient this time.

Hi Jen! Glad to see you here! I hope more ladies will come on here so we can cheer each other on.

Hi Denise! I just sent you a message.

Okay ladies, I'm off to bed. Have a great weekend and I will check in and see how everyone is doing.

Thanks ladies!!

So, after having it back on I see that I've TOTALLY allowed myself to move less in the course of a normal day. It's amazing how little it takes to just ... let ... go.....

So I'm getting back in the groove, and the food tracking is my biggest hurdle right now. Feeling very lazy there, but still being good about what goes in the ol' mouth.

@Denise - I think I'll jump in the next week's challenge, this week is topsy-turvy since I'm trying to get the better of my lazy side and get back to it being routine.

@Diane - I hear what you're saying. When I was religious with it, I never lost what I felt I should, based on the numbers. i.e. "I made a 3500 cal deficit why the heck am I still the same weight gosh darnit!?" After a LOT of daily weighing to try and determine what my issue was, I discovered that I can only actually see my losses during ONE week out of the month, the second week after time of the month. My body starts retaining water the pms week before and won't let go until 14 - 16 days after I start. So I get three lovely weeks of super high numbers that don't budge - then one week where it all normalizes and I can quit being a super-freak that wants to quit and rails at the universe over the unfair curse of hormones. Meh. Stupid body.

@Jen - Sweet! Stay in touch on here....I'll do my best to help out and if someone pokes me I'll do my best to stay on track...

Hi there!

I just thought I would come by and tell you hello. We are in the same boat. Almost. I returned my BMF because I got frustrated with the scale not moving like the BMF said it should. Now I realize I should have been more patient. I haven't been as active without the BMF. I bought CORE BMF and it arrived yesterday. I have it set up and ready to go.

I hope you will keep in touch. We could cheer each other on! :) I really want to finish the race this time.

Take Care!

Welcome back! I'm glad they replaced your BM for you--and that the new features make it exciting again. That helps reignite things to get going again; motivation at this time of year especially can be tough to come by. Feel free to jump into the challenges at any time, and let us know how we can support you!

*Dusting off from my face-first plunge off the band-wagon*

Back again from about a 2 month hiatus from my BodyMedia. It started when my sensor developed a hairline crack on the side where it touches the skin. From there it spiderwebbed out until it started losing chunks of the white plastic casing. Contacted BM and since it was still under a year old, they replaced it for free. But I guess I kind of lost my spark around that time because I tabled it.

Now, I've gained back 5 pounds and I'm completely fed up with myself. As of last night I have strapped it back on and I'm back in this....again. Sigh.

On the plus side - it was super exciting to sync back up to the site and see all the cool updates they did. Kind of a little present! Makes it all seem shiny and new again, which is a good thing since I'm struggling with my motivation right now.

So anyway, good to be back, I'll get involved in the next challenge. :)

Jenny
