Yeah, I think I just have to make myself a morning person & the exercise then if I want this plan to work. I work from home so walking on lunch isn't really an option for me with 3 kids. Maybe when it's spring I can take them out but their walking speed isn't really a work out for me lol. I suppose something is better than nothing tho. Thanks for the reply :)

I find that if I don't exercise first thing in the morning life happens and it is not guaranteed that I will exercise. In the past I have tried to go to bed 1 hour earlier than normal so that I can get up one hour earlier. Also spurts of exercise such as strength training while cooking dinner or exercising during commercial breaks will help add some minutes to your fitness. I have gone as far as taking my walking shoes to working and walking on my lunch to get in my fitness.

Hi Everyone, My name is Nicole. I've been on and off spark for sometime now. I work full time and have a 2 yr old, 1 yr old and a 4 month old so my biggest challenge is having the time and energy for exercising. I'm on week 3 of changing my eating habits and thats going great but I know I need to get some exercise in if I really want to see my body get back to what it was pre babies. I plan to work out after the kids are in bed but I end up just being burned out by that time. I'm not a morning person at all so I'm really struggling. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Welcome Aimee! I topped at 222 with my daughter 8 years ago and sadly I still have not lost all of it. We will be starting on Friday a Biggest Loser Challenge with beginning weigh in on Friday. We have the Read Team and the Blue Team so feel free to sign up for a team. I am the team leader for the Read team and Whitney is team leader for Blue team. I will be sending out a weekly schedules to push ourselves with last change workouts, challenges and various other things that may help boost you weight loss. Just sign up into which ever team you would like and start losing. It is going to be a fun challenge designed around Working Mom's and our busy schedules. Hope to see you there. The Challenge runs from Feb 1 through Mothers Day May 10. It is 14 weeks like and I am hoping myself to drop 20 in that time if not more. Spark diet estimates a healthy weight loss of 1 pound a week I would like to go for 1.5 or 2

Hello all! I am Aimee...AimeeDo.
I was previously on SP when I was struggling to lose weight. I got down to 176 and found myself pregnant. While it was planned, I had hoped to be lower in my weight. I have now had my daughter and she is 3.5 months old. I gained quite a bit while pregnant (weighed in at 222). With complications at the hospital and long nights, I am hitting the road to weight loss again. My goal right now is to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight (180) and continue to move forward. Being a mom and working woman is tough. I'm learning the in's and out's of being a new mom and juggling my job, house, and husband. It's hard work. I plan on taking this journey with SP and see myself be successful again!

I find that at the beginning of getting back on track if I distract myself I don't think about eating. I plan my meals and take them to work and leave 1/2 days worth of calories for when I am home. That way if I have a snack I am not going over. I try to keep at a 200 calorie breakfast (normally a yogurt or a piece of cheese toast w/ a piece of fruit) and frozen lunch or left overs for lunch trying not to exceed 350 calories and then a piece of fruit for snack during the day. That way at night I can eat with the family and still stay in my calorie range. When you think about eating busy yourself with something else so you do not think about it. I use to make myself clean something. Needless to say I had a very clean house for a while a few years ago. ha ha

I have a goal of 5kg's (I think that's 10-11 pounds) by the end of Jan!!! I just have a small issue with will power!! And whenever I am on a "diet" I tend to obsess about food!!!! Esp if I'm tracking what I eat??!

Sorry I have been MIA for a while. My husband is active duty military and I sometimes get overwhelmed when he is deployed. Needless to say I gained 10 pounds during my overwhelment. ha ha
