I know. I was shocked this year when someone told me, emphatically, that what I was doing to myself with my binging was "self harm". I always thought it was about food and weight and fitting into my jeans without my butt looking big!

thanks for the good wishes .
i know the crazy feelings well when they have past i cant believe that i let my whole life be dominated by the desire to eat stuff and do my self harm.but when they are with me they are all so real .good luck in the journey do keep in touch.

Hi JACQUIEANN1. Thanks for replying. I did the juice detox and actually enjoyed it! Most of my cravings are gone, and like you said, I'm back on to healthy food and portion sizes. Don't feel crazy anymore, which is nice emoticon . We're about the same weight so good luck on your journey and congratulations on your success so far! emoticon

what about just healthy food watching portions etc. i am not over fussed on fasts, lo-cal etc.
what i am aiming for is being a normal person making healthy choices. you cant live on a juice fast for ever but you can on healthy food.

I been told to try to think about mindful eating and to stop and think about how hungry you are. I was just given this information yesterday.

Hi everyone. I've come off a 7 day crazy diet (one day was 500 cals) only to be told by my husband that his boss has lost 20 lbs, looks great, started it all with a 3 day juice fast which we'll be starting Sat. or Sun. so I've been majorly binging since then (off crazy diet last week) till now (right before juice fast). Special juices that get prepared for you, designed to do special things like detox, etc. My relationship with food is crazy, I feel crazy and depression with zero discipline, feel like crying, just in that place I guess that food can sometimes put us, new with SP, so glad you guys are here. Anyone else relate? (I've been so "good" for 2 months). Lost 5lbs+. Now I wake up craving sugar, go downstairs and eat cake for breakfast, lunch, continually (normally we have no "problem foods"in the house and I live find, unless I go out and buy them). Going on a rant. Have a good weekend.
