Do browse the other threads on this team and find where you think you should jump in. Some members do not get any notice about new threads so they won't know to respond to you unless you post on a thread they get updates on.
Don't push yourself to try to get this all cleared up in a few weeks, but do start considering that eating for reasons other than hunger can become moslty a thing of the past. However, it probably won't go away on its own. What works for me is to eat regular meals and to try to eat at those meals so that I will be hungry for the next one. I do try to time them approximately to work out with eating with others, if I can. The social aspect of eating can be very hard to work against, so it's easier for me now that I've taught myself to wait to share with others, if I have a chance to eat with them. (I'm single.)

Hi all I decided to join this group because a very sweet person made the suggestion on a recent blog post. I've just join so I'm a newbie! My main issue or the reason I've gotten so up in weight is the fact that I binge mostly when I'm sad, angry, depressed, etc. I need to connect with people who understand what I'm going through because I can't talk about this with anyone. I hope sparkpeople can finally light that spark in me to make some changes! Yes I know corny lol!!
