Well, Welcome to the team !!! Not much going on for the team right now, but just wait till gardening season and Putting Up Time !!!! I'm sure you have a lot to share with us and I'm looking forward to the chatter. Have a Super Day. OXOX
Welcome, I grew up on a dairy farm, we canned all of our food and butchered. It never leaves a persons bones. I am hoping for a bumper crop of tomatoes this year, I have a squeezo and want to can allot of juice. I hate store bought tomato juice, they must thicken it with flour, tastes like it! I discovered this gadget in our shed, my husband had it and I didn't even know about them. (we have been married 18 years and I am still being surprised) Good luck canning, I think it is very rewarding. Miss Nuggy

Hello everybody, Just joined up today, looking forward to learning A LOT from this team! I'm not new to gardening and canning but am embarking on dehydrating. I grew up on a vegetable farm and we learned to can when we were just kids...haven't done it for quite a while but I'm sure it will come back to me! Picked up a good book on canning and dehydrating so I'm looking forward to learning all I can! We'll be purchasing a dehydrator once we get back to the Lake for the Summer (we spend the winters in Tucson in the house we haven't been able to sell for the last 4 years, might as well be in the warmth for the winter). We have 8 grandkids still here in Tucson so it works out great, I get my "Nana" time in the winter and we can enjoy our retirement home during the Summer....some things are just meant to be! Thank you for having me!
