I'd never heard of a Squeezo before but it looks very useful for bulk pressing/seiving. I have a mouli-legume with several different screens which does the business very well and it is good for raspberry coulis, squidging black and redcurrants for sorbets, smushing down cooked veg for soups, and mashing potatoes. I have a large one and a smaller one and wouldn't be without either. In fact I use them far more often than my food processor.

My husband was trying to impress me and tell me what a wonderful processor this SQUEEZO is. (I didn't believe him) Shame on me, but he has never gardened and never will, I wonder what ever spurred him to buy this gadget. That's it! Gadget is the word, the man loves any kind of gadget. I think he only used it once, a neighbor lady helped him with some persimmons. He said they made persimmon pudding. One of the little strainer things was still enclosed in plastic. I have always been used to doing volume canning. I am getting excited to garden again. Missnuggy

I use my mothers old Vitorio or is it Victorio ???? Can't remember...
I only have one screen that I do 5-6 bushels of Roma tomatoes with.
I'll have to try using it for my Seedless raspberry jam. Great Idea ! ! !
I usually use a sieve. The one that has a blade that pushes the pulp thru and keeps the seeds...Well about 2/3's of them. Then I put it thru a fine mesh strainer for the last 1/3.
Why didn't I think of the Vitorio ! ! Duh ! ! !

Hubby bought the pumpkin screen last season and the reviews are mixed. Will try again this season. I just bought the berry screen this week.

My two aunts used to share one between their families ; my mother, however, had her own which I have had custody of for probably 20 years. Wouldn't be without it! I make gallons of tomato puree for sauce and applesauce with the one screen. And with the berry screen I do wild black raspberries into seedless jam. Can't weigh in on the pumpkin screen as I do my pumpkin differently.

Best of luck and have fun!

We have the hard plastic version of it. It works great.

Don't get excited, I did not get a hug, this is a machine I am talking about. I was in my husbands shed a while ago and saw this very bad old box and I asked him to get the thing down. Oh! he said, "that's the SQUEEZO". First I ever knew of it, I have been married to the man for almost 18 years now, I wander what else he is hiding from me??? So now I am excited about the SQUEEZO, I Googled to check this thing out and sure enough there it was page after page about the SQUEEZO. I plan to can tomato juice this year, you may or may not get a report on how the old SQUEEZO works. They are listed for $195.00 so I am considering putting it as an extra on our homeowners policy. Bye for now. Missnuggy
