Welcome, how exciting for you. My husband planted potatoes this year, the first in a long time. We don't eat many potatoes. But he wanted the grandkids to see where potatoes came from. They are 6,4,3,and 2. It will be fun having them help dig them. Enjoy your garden.

Hi all! I'm new to this group and glad I found it! I'm a SAHM of 5 (10,7,3, and 17 month old twins) and also have the privilege to home school. We are planting our first garden and am really excited!! I have been waiting a long to time to have my own. The kids are thrilled too!! We got it all in before all the rain this week, thankfully! Our 3yo was talking to my mom and dad the other night and said, "There isn't anything happening in the garden. I don't think it's going to work!" lol It will be a great surprise- soon hopefully!
I joined this group because once everything grows and we are enjoying eating it, I am really hoping we have lots to can and put away for the winter!! ...and I really don't know what I will do, so am hoping to learn lots here!
