Ok, I added it and tracked back for this week. I'm off to London tomorrow and will be back with, I hope, lots of miles of walking to add to your counter!

If you would be willing to accept that sort of thing, I would be happy to count my walking on your Dallas challenge, I'll just always use the same number of miles for an hour of my walking--it will still be a bit of an estimate though....

I would say average pace walk would be about a 20-30 mintues per mile. I would say anywhere from 2-3 miles an hr.

If someone can figure out an easy way to change my minutes to miles, I'd be happy to help. I rack up A LOT of minutes walking, but have no good idea how far I'm going as I don't use a pedometer and I do all my walking around town....

That is great news that you added your miles to the challenge. I was thinking that we could just once we reach the 242 mark to add another challenge from dallas to somewhere else. I will let you all decide where you want to go and see if the miles we do as a team gets us there.

Kerry, you are right, this is a team with a nice feeling, unlike my other teams, which I ought to probably dump. I think it is due in large part to Lobo1978-I'm guessing on the number there- the leader, and the fact that there are men and women. When I joined Spark, I thought all teams were nice like this and they aren't...

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! This is definitely the friendliest Spark Team I've joined, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all.

I'll definitely report on Wii Fit as soon as it lands - I can't wait!

Susie, We have the Houston to Dallas challenge down in the area below. 242 miles to get to the goal. Log in your miles there and see how far we all get.

Welcome to the team. I have to honestly say that I lost my whole 20 lbs this year in part due to the Wii with Wii Sports and DDR. I am looking forward too to Wii Fit. Counting the days down now. There are 17 more days till it comes out and my wife for the first time ever is excited about a game where she can try to get back into shape. That is a good thing.

Hi, I'm in France and have been having a good time with the WiiFit, it is right up my alley. I'm not a kill 'em dead gamer, unless it involves zombies, the Wii is the first system we've had that I have used as much as my husband, so that makes it a good thing for me. We have been getting better fast. My age is usually below my real age nowadays, a real improvement, but my little Mii is still looking awfully plump.....

Hello and welcome! Loved Portal (havent finished it though) and I started Bioshock but can seem to find the time to finish that either. I work at our local Walmart, and the ONLY day they had extra wiis (13 actually), I didnt have my bank card on me! Every day there is a line for Wii's and today, when we actually have enough, nobody comes. Go figure. Anyway, my next investment will be a wii and wiifit and DDR for the wii. Wait, I take that back... My next purchase will be GTA4. Once we get more in! Good luck on the wiifit, have to let me know how it goes!

Let me be the first to say welcome and hi!

If they sold Wii's in stores I might have one. But it wouldnt really matter. You cant play GTA4 on a wii. ha ha.

i've owned/played everything since pong (even a timex sinclair) except a ds or a wii. And since you can't play Halo (my all time fav) on anything save a pc or 360, those are my platforms of choice.

so, hi. and if you ever are on xbox live, my gamertag is the same as my tag here.

We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.

My name's Kerry and I live in the UK.

I've been obsessed with games since I was a kid. I currently own a PC, PS2, DS, 360 and a Wii, and I'm working my way through far too many games to list at the moment! My favourite games that I've played recently are Portal, Bioshock and (ahem) Viva Pinata.

I see that quite a few of you get your cardio from DDR - I considered investing in that, but I've just ordered Wii Fit instead (because I can't resist a gimmick). It should arrive in the next few days, so I'll be skiing, hula-ing and yoga-ing my way to health in no time!
