That is great that you go the workout in. Just if you squeeze those first 10 mintues I am sure you will be donig more. Every friday I end up doing 2 hours of DDR. I try to set a goal of trying to beat so many stages and once I get going I am gone. Before long I see its 2 hours later. Good songs keep you going.

I just got home from rush hour and all I could think about was resting but I chose not to and play Wii and some house work.

You have to push yourself.

I so need this motivation today other wise I would have done the same.

Oh no! Take a nap or a walk, maybe? I almost always feel better after doing that...however, I do not necessarily always take those options.

Thank you all for your great advice. Yes it did help me out alot.

Today I come home early to go shopping. Before I went out I was able to get in 15 minutes on Wii and a 15 minute walk with our dog killer.

I will try not to forget all of the great advice I got today

Hi--I know exactly how you feel! Here's my two cents. I think the hardest part about exercising is starting. Try telling yourself, sincerely, that you only need to do the glider or play the Wii for 10 minutes. I bet you'll feel like doing more once you start, but the trick is getting started. Good luck!

I have the same problem- no motivation to work out= then I slack off for a week and feel miserable. Then I force myself to get moving and it works. I feel so much better. And I use that feeling everytime I procrastinate exercising. I also break it up into 10 or 15 minute increments. I tell myself "its only 10 minutes. By the time I am done arguing with myself over it I could be done excercising". Do that 3 times and your done and not only will your body feel better but you will feel better for actually doing it. Then the next time you remember that great feeling and want to experience it again.

Instead of getting stuck in a negative cycle turn it into a positive one!

You can and will do it!

Maybe you need to do something else than the Wii and Glider. Go outside and bet some fresh air. Find a work out buddy. Just a little reminder. I just created a I need help thread to keep motivational help and other needs. Good luck and I know this might sound bad but how are the team sonic stats going. I need about 2 more to be fully complete.

I hate this but I am in a Rut!

I do not exercise like I use to. I have a glider collecting dust and my Wii is not being played like I use to.

I have no energy to anything. Do you know what I mean?

Now what to do to change this.
