Minnesotan?! :) ... Is it sad... I am celebrating that when my daughter had pizza I didn't even take a bite and/or lick my fingers! :) I am not depriving... I am trying to eliminate BLT's!

You may already be aware of some of the following information. I hope I can share some information to help get you started.
Take time to look through this awesome site and begin to use the tools available. I find the nutrition & fitness tracker valuable tools. Track every morsel you eat and count the minutes you exercise even "just walking". Motion counts even if you are starting with a 5 min. walk each day. Work yourself up to at least 30 mins. of exercise daily.
Read the wealth of materials available as they give you wonderful ideas of easy changes you can make.
Build fruits & veggies into your diet. Eat 3 meals a day as well as 1-2 snacks. Keep the snacks healthy, not "junk" foods. They are a lot of empty cals. Drink lots of water as this will help flush your system & give you a fuller feeling thus decreasing the hunger sensation. Do not attempt to eat LESS than 1200cals/day as your brain is told you are starving your body so it retains carbs & fats for the future; thus weight gain. Set up your BMI to get your calorie range and try to stay within it.
Post often. Ask questions and we will help you find the answers. Join in on the fun, challenges & conversations. You just might be able to help others with their dilemmas. Try getting as many SparkPoint as you can. Reason; this leads you to a lot of fantastic information. Most of all, have fun with us.

I am so ready for this. I am done with this body and want my old one back! I'm not sure what happened but instead of getting depressed (that wasn't working for me)! I am going to get on the ball! In 2004 I lost 85 lbs. and kept it off for almost 8 years! And then... it started creeping on. I had partical knee replacement and quit taking my vitamins. Totally unsure why? Then went on Zoloft for anxiety... and it really came on.... I gained almost 40 lbs. over four or five mos. I am miserable! But I remembered recently I lost 85 lbs. and kept it off before... DO IT AGAIN!! and make it permanent. I need help and motivation. I need to share with others that share the same concerns and obstacles! I also have a very needy 14 year old daughter and 53 year old husband!!! But I am making ME time again.... Any help and motivation would be greatly appreciated. And just friendship.... :)
