Hello Lisa, My family and I have been through the elimination diet but the details escape me at the moment. We are gluten, corn and soy free and have been for about a year. We eat very little processed food and don't eat out very often. When we started out I had no idea what I was doing. It was overwhelming. But once you figure out what you are reacting to and you feel better because you are not eating it, the whole thing becomes worth it. It takes time to get comfortable with the new normal though so give yourself the time. If I can help please let me know. Julee

Welcome Lisa, I haven't tried the Elimination Diet but I've heard of it and thought of doing it at certain points in my life.

I have been on this site off and on for a couple years. Can't seem to make too much progress but now that my life SEEMS to be a little more stable.. I am hoping to work on it.
with a friend's help I am preparing to go on an elimination diet to see what things I am eating could be contributing to my weight gain and other physical problems. would love to hear from others who have tried this, and how well it went for you, how you solved the challenge of a limited diet,etc.
