Hi all!! My name is Adrienne and I previously joined SparkPeople and lost about 30lbs. I ruptured a disc in my back 2 months ago and am now starting back into the program. Before I was not very active and my tracking with the program was sporadic at best. I have decided that, for good, I am GOING to lose this weight and keep it off!!! I look forward to the motivation and community support that I have, until now, just read about.
Let's see- my spark page will give you the details, but the story is the same as most of yours! I ate too much, exercised too little, and it added up over the years. I finally reached a point where I couldn't take it anymore, I knew things had to change. So, with encouragement from my cousin, I joined SparkPeople and began canging my life! Just over two months in, I am 21 lbs lighter, happier, and healthier. I still have a ways to go- but I am on the right track.
My goal is to lose another 50 pounds before May, when my daughter graduates! I want to stand beside her in pictures, not hide behind her!
