You did the best you could under the circumstances.

I have a couple of days worth of meals on hand with stuff I know I have on hand most of the time. This way if I can't get online, I have something to fall back on.

I should have a week for that matter :)

Hang in there

Wow! Thanks all. Today had the same problem that stopped me from recording and giving up last time.... internet access issue! I use a free dial up for people who can't afford any luxuries. I am Way under the Poverty level now. The dial up wouldn't go online today at all. Frustrating to have it all planned out and can't get on to access what I am supposed to eat today!

Finally after I ate two instead of one cup of cheerio multigrain for breakfast and my apple with peanut butter..... wasn't hungry anyway and didn't want to mess it up too bad so just had a frozen pomegranate/blueberry yogurt bar and a sausage patty.... NOW I get back on!

Not hungry so refusing to let myself just eat to eat. Start again tomorrow. Too late in day to eat anything big anyway.

That which I Will to happen in truth, I will put action behind to achieve and the Lord will help me if I ask IN BELIEF!

I wish you lots of luck in your endeavor. I would love to be able to raise more of my own food, including having chickens. You just can't get the same thing if you are limited to store bought.

Right now we are in the suburbs of Chicago. We can grow some things in our yard, and rent plots from the park district to grow more, including enough tomatoes to get us through the year. But we have to wait for them to get the plots ready, instead of being able to plant when WE want, and of course that also means no perennial plants except what we can grow at home.

Can't wait until we retire and can move back to the farm so we can have our own orchard, chickens, and large garden right in our own backyard!

If it's to be, it's up to ME.

That sounds absolutely amazing and I have no doubt you can do it! It takes me back to being raised on a northern farm growing all our own plus our own meats. I couldn't wait to leave when I was a kid, and now spent most of my adult wanting to go back to that way of life!
As far as the weight gain, give yourself a break. I am sure you could have done more damage but used much better judgement this time. Stand up, dust off your behind and move on! You got this!!

Today is a new day. I can't change yesterday or know what tomorrow will bring. I can only control right here, right now.

Well after my physical I found I put back on 10 pounds! Since being here I had done real good but lately have had some major physical/health setbacks.

But I'm getting back on the horse so to speak. I will loose weight again.

I added free range organic Chickens of the Heritage Rhode Island Red Nelson Breeder line. I will be helping a breeder to breed and promote this Heritage breed. I got rid of the Production reds I started with and built (not quite finished but enough for winter) an open air Woods style coop.

I need to get back in shape both weight wise and energy wise for this endeavor.

I hope the rest of you that knew me are still here and reaching your goals. I am determined to do it right this time.....and pay attention if my body is telling me I am not taking in enough sugar. I had cut it all out and lost lots of weight but ended up with sugar almost bottoming out. Was afraid to do it again.... but with moderation this time and paying attention to my system I will do it right this time.

Have a breeder depending on me now with the Chickens. So more of a reason OUTSIDE MYSELF to succeed in healthier eating. No more baking for me!!! my downfall

So gardeners... cheer me on with raising all the food I can (extra to food distribution center) and in my Chicken breed preservation and egg production. If I get this off the ground I will be producing veggies, fruit, and protein source here on my own property all chemical free!

That which I Will to happen in truth, I will put action behind to achieve and the Lord will help me if I ask IN BELIEF!
