Thanks for the welcomes!
Now that the snow is melting off, I'm finding daffodils and surprise lilies starting to peak through the soil.
I can't tell if my Hellebores/Lenten Rose are blooming yet, they are still buried under a snow drift.

Sharon, I look forward in learning from your vast experience!!

It's almost time to get in the garden. I walked around the yard a bit ago and I have surprise lilies coming up along with hyacinth's. Doesn't seem possible but yet I am READY FOR SPRING!!

Hi, my name is Shari and I've just joined the other members of this team as the co-leader.

I can't remember when I started gardening, but I was very young. I have been a Master Gardener for about 9 years. During the interviews for the master gardener program, one of the questions I was asked was "What is your first memory of gardening?" After thinking for a minutes, I told them about sitting outside at a wash tub, washing the dirt off of potatoes as my sisters and older brother lugged bushel baskets of them up from the garden as my parents dug them. I had the job of washing them because I was too small to help carry the baskets. Now many years later, I still love gardening!

I have been gardening organically for at least 20-30 years. It is so much easier now to get information about organic gardening than when I first started it, if I don't know how to do something now at least I can find lots of sources on the web for information about it. 30 years ago there were just a couple of magazines and a smattering of books about organic garden.

I will be starting a couple of new on going threads over the next couple of days.

One for your gardening questions, I encourage all of you to use this thread for any and all of your questions. If you have wondered about something, there are probably others who have the same question.

The other topic will be to see how many minutes/hours we as a team can accumulate gardening. This should be fun to see as a team how much gardening exercise we actually get!

So with springtime coming on
HAPPY GARDENING!!!!!!!
